Vinnie Jones has told Manchester United star Paul Pogba to ‘stop moaning and get on with it’ after his latest swipe at manager Jose Mourinho. Mourinho was critical of his players’ performance as they recorded adisappointing 1-1 draw with Wolves in the Premier League on Saturday.
But Pogba responded to the manager’s criticism, saying he wants the team to be allowed to play more attacking football – especially at home. Asked about what is stopping the team from attacking more, he said: “I can’t tell you because I’m a player. It’s not me.
“I’m not the manager, I cannot say that, but obviously we should show more options of playing. “When we are at home we should attack, attack, attack. That’s Old Trafford.”
Pogba’s latest outburst is not going to help his relationship with Mourinho, with the pair already said to be at odds behind the scenes at the club. But Vinne Jones is not impressed by the World Cup winner and insists he should be doing his talking on the pitch. Speaking on Monday’s Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, the former Wimbledon star and FA Cup winner said: “That would drive Mourinho mad as a manager.
“Just get on with it and play football! “For players to keep coming out and staying stuff – do it on the pitch! “Even the other players must get sick of it when the same players are in there moaning, you’d do something about it.
“He’s supposed to be one of the best players in the world – stop moaning and get on with it!”
