Obiano shoots down claims He begged Ojukwu’s son to return to APGA

Anambra State governor, Chief Willie Obiano has denied a latest declare with the aid of Chukwuemaka Ojukwu Jnr, son of the late Igbo warlord, Chief Chukwuemeka Ojukwu that he approached the latter to come to the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.

Ojukwu Jnr rapidly before the Anambra State governorship election had left APGA and joined the All Progressives Congress, APC.
In a declaration signed by using Prince Oliver Okpala, the Senior specific Assistant to the governor on Media and Strategic Communications, Obiano stated he might now not have approached Ojukwu Jnr to return to APGA as he had no political clout that would be priceless to the celebration.

Part of the statement stated, “It is a matter of pure pathetic fallacy for the Junior Ikemba to say that Governor Obiano is lobbying him to come back to APGA which he claimed he won’t accept.”
Okpala wondered on what ground anybody would ever lobby Ojukwu Jnr to return to APGA while he never held any important position to warrant being described as a stakeholder or a leader of the party when he was a member.

“In fact nobody knew that he was a member of the party, so on what grounds was he relevant to the fold?”
