Liverpool defender wins Player of the Year award

Liverpool defender Ragnar Klavan has been named as the Estonia Player of the Year for the fifth time in six years.


The 32-year-old is his national side’s captain with 122 caps to his name and joined the Reds from Augsburg in 2016.


Klavan is the most high profile Estonian player, though 19-year-old Mattias Käit is at Fulham and Karol Mets, 24 is at NAC Breda.
