Kano State intending pilgrims has rounded up their practical orientation in respect of the forthcoming Hajj exercise.
The intending pilgrims, who were invited from all the 44 local government areas of the state described the practicals as one of the major tutorials that will assist them to participate fully in this year’s pilgrimage.
In his remark the state Executive Secretary of the Board Alhaji Muhammad Abba Dambatta stated and described the practical orientation, as a welcome development. He also assured the intending Pilgrims that the board would continue to do whatever is possible to ensure that the 2019 hajj operations is free of hiccups.
He commended the state governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and his deputy for all the necessary support they have been rendering to the board.
His Excellency Kano State Deputy governor Dr Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna disclosed that the state government under Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje would continue to support Annual hajj exercise, in which he commended the efforts of the Board and prayed for the successful operation.
He also announced that all intending pilgrims will receive a token of 50 Saudi Riyals (N5000), from the state government as assistance when they are in Saudi Arabia. He warned the intending pilgrims to be cautious with whoever tried to give them luggage or any form of goods without knowing its contents to guard against falling into drugs and other contraband scandals.
Malam Ahmad from Ungogo local government who spoke to Hajj Media team of Kano State Pilgrims Welfare board stated that ” this is my first time to go to the holy land for hajj, but from what we learned during weekly and daily Bita and also practical orientations exercise that of today’s practicals, would make our hajj exercise simpler and acceptable by the grace of Allah and I thank governor Ganduje for the usual support and co-operation that he rendered to our instructors”.
Another pilgrim, Malama Zainab from Nassarawa local government commended the state government for organizing the practical orientation exercise for the intending pilgrims through Kano State Pilgrims Welfare board. She also stated that they learned a lot in terms of hajj rites through various training and practical.She assured that all intending pilgrims from Kano would continue to respect all the laws and rules of Hajj operations both at home and while in the holy land.
