Ashley Young charged by FA, faces three-match ban

Manchester United’s Ashley Young has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association and faces a three-match ban. Referee Craig Pawson failed to spot Young elbowing Dusan Tadic in the stomach, during the second half of United’s 0-0 draw with Southampton on Saturday. Young has until 5pm today to respond to the charge.

He has until 5pm today [31/12/17] to respond.

“Meanwhile, Naughton’s charge follows an incident during yesterday’s game against Watford which was not seen by the match officials but caught on video. He also has until 5pm today [31/12/17] to respond,” an FA statement read.
